The Waring-Goldbach problem for cubes

Abstract
In
the Waring-Goldbach problem, we are concerned with
the representation of integers by cubes of primes. A
very difficult conjecture in this direction is that all sufficiently large
integers satisfying some necessary congruence conditions are sums of four cubes of
primes. In this talk, we investigate the above conjecture in various
directions, and give a brief survey
on recent results concerning approximations to the conjecture.
