Extending normal bundles of locally complete intersections

Abstract

 

We will introduce the construction of Kozul complex which a basic tool for studying locally complete intersection. Then, together with the knowledge of classifying exact sequence developed in my previous talk, we are able to prove a theorem on extending the normal bundle of codimension two locally complete intersections in the projective space. In particular, it settles a problem of constructing indecomposable bundles of rank two in the projective space.
