Abstract

From the early day of Gromov-Witten theory, there was a speculation that Mori's birational geometry program should admit a generalization in symplectic geometry. In this talk, I will outline an approach to such a symplectic birational geometry. Topics includes the notion of symplectic birational equivalence, symplectic uniruledness, divisoral contraction and so on. This is a joint work with Tian-Jun Li and Jianxun Hu.
