transmission property of the
discrete
Heisenberg spin chain

Abstract
It
is shown that the discrete Heisenberg spin chain with the nearest interaction
is equivalent to a discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equation in the category of
(discrete) Yang-Mills theory. By using the obtained discrete equation, we
display the transmission property (a quantum chaotic property) of the discrete
Heisenberg spin chain with the nearest interaction. This is a joint work with
Dr. W. Lin.
