Abstract
We
begin by presenting the definition of the standard Clifford algebra and its
most important basic properties. Then we introduce the Cauchy-Riemann-Dirac
operator on Euclidean space and illustrate how Cauchy's theorem and formula
looks like and how one can obtain special null solutions (monogenic functions)
using the Cauchy-Kowalewski extension principle. Then
we say a few words about homogeneous polynomial solutions (spherical monogenics) and we discuss special monogenic functions of
axial type and plane wave decompositions.
